Job summary
As our Senior web Developer, you are in charge of the development and maintenance of some of our custom advertising tools, apps and services. You report directly to the management, and you will be working closely to both our R&D office in Paris and our Marketing team in Barcelona. As a manager, you are the leader of the Barcelona engineering team, and manage directly other talented people. Powerspace is offering outstanding work conditions and top-market compensation. Main responsibilities :
You are responsible for the delivery of our products in time, according to our roadmap. You write technical specs, find ways to innovate and make things happen, and have to make sure that the architecture serving the product will handle all kinds traffic peaks, because you know it will be a huge success.
You manage directly at least two developers. You share the knowledge, make everyone be better, and try to bring the whole team to a level of excellence.

You are a hacker. You always find a way to make things work. You are a true web expert, knowing the most basic stuff about how the web works in its deeper layers. Ideally, you know the HTTP spec, you already have analyzed a request fully, you know how to emulate one, how to work with web services, how to play nice with cookies, etc. You are the master of the server-side.

You like to manage and mentor. Building a motivated and talented team around your leadership is a key component of your goals. You like being surrounded by other talents, and you are keen on helping the younger people to get better. As a manager, you know that communication is key.
